The summer 2008 research adventures of Professor Rogers, Chris Hastings, Kevin Hurley, Charlie Simkin, Rebecca Grollman, James Grandner, and Darius Romero

Chris, Kevin, and Charlie are conducting archaeological geophysical surveys at a Bronze Age Village Site in Cyprus and an Iron Age Hill Top Fort in Azerbaijan.

Rebecca and James are examining student learning using two different instructional methods

Darius is doing the final data collection to understand positional errors encountered during magnetometer surveys. This is the last piece needed before we publish our results.

02-Jun-08 : James continues his Spring Term 2008 work on analyzing student perceptions of the same course taught in two different modes.
Kevin, Chris, and Charlie learn how to use the geophysical instruments

21-Jul-08 --> 24-Jul-08 : Helping Bodhi get a National Science Foundation proposal ready for submission.
28-Jul-08 : Setting up a survey grid at a Native American site on the lawn of a 19th century manor in New York and our first data.
29-Jul-08 : More data coming in and the resitivity meter pushes off it's mortal coil.
30-Jul-08 : We think we are seeing a Palisade.
31-Jul-08 : Oops, we accidently rotated the data 90 degrees.
